The cerasonar 1520 fit is the most compact loudspeaker within the cerasonar portfolio, offering an ideal balance of performance, installation efficiency and value. Designed for residential and commercial projects alike, it delivers natural sound reproduction while remaining completely invisible behind plaster. Its compact dimensions make the 1520 fit particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, hotel rooms, corridors, cabins and other spaces where installation depth is limited. Despite its size, the loudspeaker provides excellent speech intelligibility and balanced musical reproduction for background music and everyday listening applications. Engineered for long-term reliability, the 1520 fit is suitable for humid environments including bathrooms, spa and wellness areas, yachts and cruise ships. Carefully selected moisture-resistant materials ensure dependable operation even under demanding environmental conditions. The loudspeaker is available as a standard 8 Ohm version as well as a model with an integrated 100V line transformer, providing flexibility for both low-impedance systems and distributed audio installations. For optimum performance, the cerasonar 1520 fit should be operated with a suitable DSP amplifier together with the dedicated cerasonar factory DSP preset. The preset has been specifically developed for the loudspeaker, optimising tonal balance while providing reliable loudspeaker protection without requiring an additional protection unit. Depending on the project requirements, the loudspeaker can be combined with the cerasonar cs-150smart2 streaming DSP amplifier, the cerasonar cs-500dsp4 DSP amplifier or compatible third-party DSP amplifiers from LEA Professional and Powersoft. When operating without a cerasonar DSP preset, the appropriate cerasonar protection unit must be used to ensure safe operation and long-term loudspeaker reliability. For installations using conventional AV receivers or high-power streaming amplifiers, cerasonar recommends the cerasonar protection unit pro 50/100w, which can also be configured to 25 W for the cerasonar 1520 fit.
